What is a Face Lift?
A face lift is a surgical procedure that aims to reduce sagging, deepening lines and the loss of facial contours that occur as skin elasticity decreases and tissues descend over time. The goal is a refreshed, less tired and naturally youthful appearance.

First 24 Hours
Hospital Observation and Comfort
A dressing and a light compressive bandage are applied. Pain is manageable with prescribed medication.
1st Week
Removal of Sutures
Sutures are removed gradually between days 7–10. Swelling and bruising begin to subside.
Weeks 2 – 3
Return to Social Life
Visible swelling decreases significantly. A return to a gentle daily routine is mostly possible.
Months 1 – 3
Softening of Contours
Tissue swelling fully resolves; skin–tissue harmony improves and facial contours soften.
6th Month
Final Result Becomes Apparent
The aesthetic result becomes stable. Regular follow-up and sun protection contribute to a long-lasting outcome.

His medical journey began in 2008 with English-medium medical education at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine and was shaped by plastic surgery. He completed his specialist training at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital, one of Turkey's long-established plastic surgery clinics, and subsequently served for two years as a plastic surgery specialist at Erzurum City Hospital.
Since 2023 he has been practising at Yılmazer Clinic in Istanbul, guided by innovative technologies and a scientific approach. In face lift procedures, the priority is a natural appearance, respect for proportions and functional continuity; a detailed analysis is carried out for each patient and technical choices are planned individually.
