What is Gynecomastia?
Gynecomastia is the abnormal enlargement of breast tissue in men, which can be a source of both physical and psychosocial discomfort. Surgical treatment aims to restore a masculine chest contour by removing the glandular breast tissue and any excess fat tissue if present.
For each patient, Op. Dr. Emre Yılmazer evaluates the ratio of glandular and fat tissue, skin elasticity, and the desired outcome to plan the appropriate technique. Liposuction alone, gland excision alone, or a combined approach is determined on an individual basis.

Dressing Care

Return to Social Life
A return to office work begins. Strenuous sports are postponed; the compression garment continues.
Weeks 4 – 6
Gradual Return to Sports
The compression garment is discontinued; a gradual transition to athletic activities begins.
Months 3 – 6
Final Result Becomes Clear
Tissue swelling completely subsides; the chest contour becomes well defined.
