What is a Lip Lift?
A lip lift (bullhorn technique) is a small-scale surgical procedure that aims to make the lip appear more defined and fuller by reducing the distance between the upper lip and the nose. It provides a permanent correction of lip line and proportion that cannot be achieved with fillers.

First 48 Hours
Mild Swelling
Edema and slight tightness of the upper lip are expected findings. Gentle handling of the lips is recommended.
Days 5 – 7
Suture Removal
Sutures are removed during this period; the scar line is still visible at this stage.
Weeks 2 – 3
Return to Social Life
Swelling and redness decrease noticeably; the scar begins to fade.
Months 1 – 3
Softening of the Scar
The scar line continues to fade; the natural lip contour becomes more defined.
Month 6
Final Result Becomes Clear
The scar largely disappears and the lip proportion stabilizes.

His medical journey, which began in 2008 with English-language medical education at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, took shape through plastic surgery. He completed his specialty training at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital, one of Turkey's long-established plastic surgery clinics, and subsequently served as a plastic surgery specialist at Erzurum City Hospital for 2 years.
Since 2023, he has been practicing at Yılmazer Clinic in Istanbul, guided by innovative technologies and a scientific approach.
