What Is Liposuction?

First 24 Hours
Compression Garment and Drainage
A special medical compression garment is applied. Drainage fluid and mild swelling are expected findings.
Week 1
Gentle Return to Activity
Light walking is encouraged in the early period. Swelling begins to decrease noticeably during this phase.
Weeks 2 – 4
Return to Social Life
Patients largely return to office routines. The use of the compression garment continues.
Months 1 – 3
Contour Becomes Visible
As edema subsides, body lines become more defined. A gradual return to sports activities is started.
Months 3 – 6
Final Result Reveals
Tissue edema fully resolves and the aesthetic outcome becomes clear; it is long-lasting in patients who maintain their weight.

His medical journey, which began in 2008 with English-language medical education at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, was shaped by plastic surgery. His specialty training was completed at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital, one of Turkey's long-established plastic surgery clinics; he then served for 2 years as a plastic surgery specialist at Erzurum City Hospital.
Since 2023, he has been providing services at Yılmazer Clinic in Istanbul in the light of innovative technologies and scientific approaches. In liposuction procedures, natural appearance, respect for proportions and functional continuity are prioritized; technical preferences are planned individually for each patient through detailed analysis.
